|neverfastenough1||Yes, your air hose should go to the tube. The 05's started going to the airbox. If his is not an 05+, someone might have had to replace the box and use a newer one and just closed the hole.|

|neverfastenough1||Yeah, looks pretty stock, and it is like said, where the fresh air hose for the PCV connects.|

|jkp||That's where the crankcase vent hose is on my '06. It runs to the port on the front of the valve cover.|

|nuclearmuscle523||It ain't stock from my experience. Basically what the guy above me said. Don't worry too much about it, it really won't cause any issues. Id just leave it be|

|Dextreme||Kinda tough to tell in the pic, but sometimes people will tap into the air box for their differential/xfer/tranny breathers to make them more waterproof. So your might check the routing on those vent tubes.|

Where should this hose go?
The previous owner (or someone) thoughtfully plugged this large nipple on the top of the airbox for me with electrical tape. From the pic posted, can anyone tell me where this missing hose should have connected up to? I don't have any other hoses dangling, and I don't see anything else plugged.
