Was hoping it could be salvaged but it was gone-good for cable only. I traded it to the body shop for the difference in the cost of the new winch. On the positive side I now have an extra winch controller.

LJ is fixed and ready. Let it snow! Has a new winch and I'm having the 2" lift done next week. Maybe one day I can afford to put bigger tires on her. It's always something, isn't it?

I've posted my tracks and waypoints at EveryTrail.
Four wheeling in the George Washington National Forest - trip | EveryTrail
It's also on the Garmin Advetures site.

EveryTrail doesn't do a good job of color coding the tracks or showing custom waypoint symbols so if you want to see the color codes you'll need to save gpx file to your local device.

mrsbones Had a great time Jason, totally enjoyed turning my white jeep brown looking forward to our next time out. Spring and Summer will be much better with the extra daylight.

firefox2501 I have a clean GPS tracklog too, but kawa001 is probably more qualified with the GIS stuff than I am!

I also apologize if the trip took longer than expected, I just really enjoy taking pictures and video of our Jeeps and the one Trailblazer be used for what they are built for!

kawa001 Looking forward to checking out the pics when we get home. It got a little chilly up there last night. We found quite a few other trails today. We are still driving around.

danrb Great trip Reaper2332!

Hey I found a new use for my jeep. Go out get lots of mud on it like yesterday and then I get to play with my pressure washer. Jeep is clean as new. You should try it!

It was a lot of fun, but just for the record I advised everyone that that hill was off limits. In my mind we are all adults and can make our own decisions with the information provided.

Thanks for the info. This was the first time out there for everybody on this trip so it's good to know little details like that for future reference

danrb Tried something new with the GoPro. this looks promising if I can figure out how to make the batteries last for more than 8 minutes (S'pose to b 1.5 hours). Need to figure out what was rattling. Unfortunately, the camera was giving me fits, so I didn't get more pics during the rock climbs.
