OregonPlinker If you have the means to do it and plan on being off road very much I would ditch the huge body lift. Either go back to stock or leave 1 inch of body lift.

Does that plate lay on the frame between the bumper and body? I cant really see it in the pic. If it does you can just get rid of it. Or if its thick enough maybe make it a winch plate.

yellow92 As much as I'd hate to go through all the trouble I'm thinking about taking the body lift off and putting a suspension lift on

OregonPlinker That plate is probably to cover up the big 'ol gap from the body lift but I would have to see it to be sure what your talking about.

yellow92 It's the plate right under the grill in the middle I didn't know if the winch plate would interfere with this or not I'm in the rebuild process this was ruff shape when I got it

yellow92 yea i know lol and i have a smittybilt xrc stinger but the reason i was asking is because right below the grill is like a plate sticking out from the body where one of the body bolts is so now its raised above the frame

OregonPlinker Thats a lot of body lift.lol. Your winch plate should bolt to the frame right behind the bumper if its a factory bumper. I dont think body lift will effect winch mounting at all...
