Awesome pictures and a great run! Next time I'll make sure I remember a memory card for my gopro camera and we can get some videos. And thanks again to everyone who helped me put that rear diff back together! Great group and I will be sure to be back out for another run!

ZombieClownZ We had a great time on the run yesterday. My buddy is thoroughly addicted now, he wanted to get back on the trail last night. Sorry Nate had some trouble with his jeep, but it was awesome watching him go balls out trying to get up a couple of those hills.

Some pics below all courtesy of Gazelle. I will only post a few, but here is a link to the entire album if you want to take a look or download them.

Nate going for bonus points.

Everyone admiring Nate admiring the view from way up there.

Helping Nate get to the top of the bonus point section.

Bonus points time for Critter.

Three wheeling.

Unfortunately, the camera was a cell phone, and they just can't take pictures that quickly, so we missed some good action shots. Next time we will have a real camera and get Critter and Gary to do the bonus section again.

natepilla Yea me too! I deffenently thought it was waaaay worse.
01-19-2013 10:05 PM
cashcow1608 Wow, I never heard of that happening before. Im glad you were able to get it fixed.
01-19-2013 09:51 PM
natepilla Awesome run! I had a blast and it was great to meet all of you and I am lookin forward to another one. And I fixed the diff. Somehow I sheared every one of my ring gear bolts in half!
01-19-2013 09:18 PM
cashcow1608 Thats good, Im glad it was not a major issue. I had fun pulling him up the hill though and my father in law had such a good time we turned around at rowher after everyone had left and went back up lookout trail then came down rowher trail because he wanted to do that climb up lookout.
01-19-2013 09:04 PM
crittert It looked alright. Just sheered the bolts on one of his gears and chipped one tooth. So not as bad as he suspected..
01-19-2013 08:59 PM
cashcow1608 Im looking forward to seeing the pictures they got of you doing that section. I hope they can fix the diff issues with the broken jeep. Just let me know if they cant and I can bring my old dana 35 up there for him.
01-19-2013 08:55 PM
crittert Well as big as you can in Santa Clarita anyway
01-19-2013 08:53 PM
Tanks Go big or go home!
01-19-2013 08:52 PM
crittert Well myself and Gary made it up the bonus point section of Rowher. That was fun. Got my two fronts off the ground on that one lol..
01-19-2013 08:50 PM
Tanks Oh no! Sounds like it was a good day but not for all?!
01-19-2013 08:35 PM
crittert Good to see ya Gary. Your casualties were minor compared to the others. Doug had to be towed home and devil dog is still working on his jeep at my neighbors house as we speak..
01-19-2013 08:28 PM
cashcow1608 That was a fun run, got to exercise the winch a little and break in the new strap. Had a great time as always. My only casualty was a small split in the air line for my front locker.
01-19-2013 07:47 PM
crittert I don't know if that was meant for me or not but I can't make it tomorrow. I am in the middle of a move right now and I need to start packing tomorrow. I am bummed I'm not gonna make it..
01-19-2013 06:31 PM
DaK Come up tomorrow and do some crawlin with us.
01-19-2013 05:35 PM
crittert Sorry Ron didnt see your message in time. We'll have to hook up on the next one. It was a blast today. Only had 2 casualties. 1x dead battery and 1x differential. With a little strap and buddy push we got everybody out. I got to go 2 wheeling for the first time! I cant wait to see the pics from this run. Thanks for coming everybody and stay tuned for the next one. It will most likely be an overnighter!

I am trying to do a run on Sunday at nightmare gulch so I can't camp this weekend

I am planning to do a weekend trip really soon. We'll start at Rowher Flats and end at Gorman. Sawmill campground is right in the middle and a very good spot to hole up for the night. We could even do some fishing along the way if there was interest.

I'll put you as a maybe on the first post. And no there are no pass requirements unless you plan on parking there.
