This was the end of our run - all parked and visiting

This was also very therapeutic for Oscar - a real great guy who has been through a lot.

The Jeeps playing on the hills

02-11-2013 08:56 PM
TheDesertOutlaw Having fun on a warm January day!

This hill was real fun to climb and slide around on with bald tires!

The funny thing - This family had visited Disneyland (along with my Wife) the day before, and they were so groggy that morning before getting into the open-topped Jeeps and feeling the sun and wind.

I don't think there's much of a law problem cause there were dirt bikes and quads all over there.

The Almighty90 Jeep tackled the slickrock like a champ!

SALUDOS!BYE BYE!

01-20-2013 06:03 PM
TheDesertOutlaw That's the city of Riverside in the background.

Mike crawling on top of slickrock - JUST LIKE MOAB!

TheDesertOutlaw The guys had a great time and also had time to talk modifications and trails.

We found a fun trail to climb with a steep drop-off.

Mike drove my Wife, his Daughter, and his 1 1/2 yr. old Grand-daughter!

Oscar showing that he had a great time (not looking for a ride along the 215 fwy)LOL

We ran trails for roughly 2 hours in all.

The Almighty90 looks blue in this photo.

01-20-2013 05:55 PM
TheDesertOutlaw We shared the trail with ATV riders who were courteous and also had a real fun time.

Mayra flashing the "Paz" sign showing that she had a fun time in the housing tract.

Coastie cruising up a set of rocks - his first ever to tackle from behind the wheel of a Jeep!

Up and over

Mayra's Mother had never run a trail - let alone sat inside of a built and trail ready Jeep JK!

My Wife was happy that Mayra and her Mother enjoyed themselves.

Riverside Jeep Run photos

Our group met up at 10 am and after picking up Oscar and his In-laws, we drove to our top secret spot for some junkyard 'wheeling!

There were plenty of rocks and obstacles to play on.

Mike's Jeep went up and over w/no problems.

Oscar had a great time and met a great group of people.

John's Jeep tackling one of the rock sections of the trail

Mayra had a great time - this being her last day in Southern California for some time to come.

Coastie1 Ditto! Thanks for a great ride. I had a blast and it's always sweeter when there's a cause.

It was nice meeting everyone and look forward to the next one.

TheDesertOutlaw Update: The family of Melissa (RIP) had a great time at Disneyland. They had special VIP treatment and fun memories on their first every trip to Disneyland.

I will be in the Food 4 Less parking lot at 10 am

Any stock Jeep can handle these trails. Nothing serious. We plan to meet at the Food 4 Less Parking Lot on California and Van Buren (across the street from the ARCO station) at 10 AM.
