pakratt 5 was enough with a late fuel stop before we hit dirt...fueled in cascade. Would not place gas inside rig. From boise to yellowpine it is 165 miles, but gas in mccall and cascade. Also, when gas is in yellowpine it can be expensive. Let me know on the fb page when heading this way.

tallzdatank thankyou! about how much gas did you bring? I'm not currently set up for expedition the way you are but since we'll be camping there, and ill be traveling alone I'll have all kinds of room inside. I can bring up to 10 gallons of gas and probably 6 of water. will that be enough? or should I have my family, whom ill be meeting there, bring more?

yellow pine?

my moms friends are in the Rocky mountain 4x4 club in Boise, they invited me to go to yellow pine with them this summer on their annual trail ride. ive never been. anybody know what its like down there? I live in Montana and am expecting similar terrain, forest service roads, some rocks, maybe a creek to cross. but not ultimately sure.
