You might want to either proofread your posts a tad or buy a tape measure for the sake of accuracy.
Those are 8x8x16 CMU's and based on that pic, you do NOT have the left front on top of the last block, the tire is just gripping it with the forward half of the compressed contact patch and it's very clear in that pic at least that the right front is NOT firmly planted on the ground.

|Imped||But what are those pictures supposed to show? Any Jeep with X" length shocks can do the same thing. No offense but they aren't providing anything of value and what you're doing in that picture has little to do with the length of the arms. I'm simply asking what are people supposed to gain from seeing those pictures?|
|03-13-2013 09:01 AM|
|Aleater||Seen the pictures when you posted them. Great job on the jeep. I told my exp. You made your comments. People asked for pictures of my jeep flexed. I provided them. Simple lift on a budget. Its info to help the OP make his decision.... thats what the forum is for right?|

|cully||Alot of good infomation on this thread. After running the including rough country shocks for a bit I may have to try some Fox shocks from Currie. I installed their tie rod system and my rubicon drives like a new rig!|

The Fox IFP shocks are the best value for the money. Ride is a subjective component and really depends on what you do with your Jeep and your driving habits. Some people like Bilstein while others Rancho and many like Fox. For me these are all good shocks and offer good warranties. Compare them physically side by side and you will instantly see the difference in build quality.
Price wise they are all very close in cost.
Hands down Fox IFP shocks win in the build quality. Aluminum bodies transfer the heat from the oil quicker. The machined ends and coated hardware. The Fox can also be revalved or valved differently.

|PHILDABEAST||Nothing that I'm aware of. Just the same vehicle specific Fox's that a lot of other places carry as far as I know.|

|PHILDABEAST||Just sayin bds sells the fox 2.0's|

|PHILDABEAST||All I can recommend is to make sure you get the right length, don't necessarily go by what size lift they say they fit. Measure twice and buy once. And I think bds usually has them chespest online at $105 each, I bought mine local for considerably cheaper so shop around.|

|PHILDABEAST||People seem to like the bilstiens so much its almost got me curious enough to try a set, but I can get Fox's so cheap I think they'd be hard to beat for the price.|
