scrambler1 I would stear to checking the compression tester,than check valve adjustment. Maybe that was overlooked during the final assembly.

jpdocdave the engine and head are all cast. if you have 0 compression that thing would sound very funny cranking, it would be very fast. i doubt its 0, possibly testing wrong or gauge is bad. by just changing a head i can't see what would possibly cause no compression. even if the head was warped, and valves were toast you would get some compression, 20 or 40 or something.

91 with no compression?

blew the head gasket so i put a new one on and everything works but she wont fire over. fuel in the rail spark and air all working. Did a compression test and i am showing 0 in all 4. is this because i did not have the head milled down? because on this year the block is cast and the head is alimunim? all helo greatly appreciated!
