trumsey07 Airraid makes a good coldair intake or if you had one any where around you, you could go to advanced auto and they have do it your self kits for like 60 bucks. I imagine you get alot of dust where you are from so you might end up cleaning the coldair filter alot more then factory.

HueyTroll Right now, living in Yuma, our less than 2" of rain a year leaves mud out of the picture. Although when it does, we rush out and try to find it. What are some other options/suggestions?

trumsey07 if you do any mudding i would stay away from the cold air intake becouse it will suck up water and mudd but if not kandn make a really nice coldair and my girlfriend runs it on her cherokee and noticed a pretty good increase in power and responce

Cold Air Intake

Sorry if this thread is out there, but I did not see it in the many pages I looked at.
I am new to your forum and I have a 1989 YJ, but removed the Carb engine and installed a Fuel Injected I6 out of an 89 Cherokee (with much help from my friends). Since then, it has run very well and I have had little complaints.
I am looking to see if anyone has any suggestions on a Cold Air Intake for me.
Also, in the back right panel there seems to be a canister in there that is broken, is that why I smell fuel? It appears this comes from the fuel tank.
So very glad I got rid of the Carb!

Thanks in advance for the help.
