kisportolt just bought my rio grande last week! really like the jeep, gonna be a great toy for us. the trim on it wasn't a main factor for me buying it, but i do like it.

95YamJam Mine started as a Rio Grande. Lol. Over 185k and still going strong. It's just a trim package.

The 94 / 95 were the best year yj s imho. Again look for frame rust.

In 2000, it was bought for $10.5K - It sold in 2005 for $9.5K - not bad depreciation, IMO.

RioGrande95YJ I have the 95 Rio Grande and am very pleased. A solid rig to say the least. Just make sure to check for rust!

jokerchief462 Well you have to pull everything to get to it and the design of the inlet tube sucks. Not very reliable when you get to banging off road. You can put a 94 bell housing and parts and conver to the external. But I sure hope the 95 is the deal. Good friend has one we tore into it the other day seals in Tcase and tranny.

Good luck with the search.

mudmagnet63 I'm also looking at a 93 that has some clutch issues, I read that pre 94 have the slave cylinder inside the bell housing. How much of a PITA is it to work on.

mudmagnet63 Outlaw that is one sweet looking rig. I found some info on wiki, basicly a se with some interior upgrades. I have owned every model of Jeep except a yj. I hope this deal goes through, my boy will be stoked. I'll find out tomorrow

1995 Rio Grande - 2.5" Rancho Lift w/A/C added!

This is the Jeep we sold in 2005 to a family who flew out to SoCal from New York state. They were happy with the purchase. My ex-wife was happy with the $$ she made off of the sale!

Photos taken January 19, 2005 - Sold 1 month later...

After-market Air-Conditioning was added by ALL J PRODUCTS

Super-clean interior!

punchesdfw What do you want to know?

stykthyn basically a trim package only available in 95. I believe they were offered in champagne and moss green. They had spice interior and special inserts on the front seats. There should be a Rio Grande decal on the back. Other than that its a 4 popper jeep. Look for all the other normal problems associated with a 17 year old vehicle.
