Turbo is absolutely correct. I got a killer deal on a SYE and DS combo.

Adams driveshaft also give great customer service. I couldn't have asked for a better transaction.

The old OEM one was stored in a box since about 2005 when the owner bought a hard top after moving up north. Recently he moved back and sold the TJ. After that he found the old top, but not the windows or the frame. I bought it from him for cheap. It is in excellent physical shape, but the dirt and pollen that sat on it since 2006 stained it. But the edges that fold over and connect to the windows are still looking pretty new and dark. I removed my torn up Bestop and installed this very old top. Perfect fit, tight as a drum, looks great (except for the color on the top). No more rain coming in through the holes above my head, no more loose, flappiness on the highway, and the Bestop windows fit perfectly and still look pretty new. Score! Time to get ready for work. See y'all!
purple power or WD40 and a power washer will take the stains out.

tsteb Decided today to fix up the engine and sell my 98 SE wrangler. Going to get a gas saver and save up for an LJ rubi. It'll be a long spring without a jeep but luckily I can always tag along with someone in our club. It's about the big picture and I have big plans for the lj rubi

The 35x12.5 is $5 extra, so like $41.

I'll ask the gf. She ordered it last year and it was pretty inexpensive. They have them for whatever size you need. This ones a 33".

LItj97 Flushed the cooling system. New t-stat so the heats nice n hot! Fixed the passenger seat so it pulls all the way forward and found but did not fix the reason why my heat does not blow out of center stack vents! Score. Lol. Over all it was a productive day

Maestro Started paracording the steering wheel. Looks good so far.

Also had a revelation! Apparently the foam tire cleaner works on the vinyl top as well! Got a rag and rubbed it in, it looks and feels 100% better! Maybe a trick someone could use one day, I'm sure it's been thought of. Didn't touch the plastic windows yet

Adjusted the E brake.
Installed my Sony head unit
Cleaned up some wiring the PO had done (that's gonna be an ongoing job)
Washed her up

Just getting acquainted with her. Only had it a couple of weeks and today was the first day I've had off since bringing her home

Rock Kicker On the way home from family gathering at a CT lake, stopped by a used car dealer to look at a couple random JKU's. One was really nice, but had a sold flyer in it. The other was almost as nice on the interior, nicer exterior. 2011, 35k miles...may call about it tomorrow. My gf asked if I planned to trade the XJ or Tj in on it...pfsshhh! Nerp! Maybe turn the dynamic duo into a trio!

I did what I could for now. Wire brush and grind rust off, cut out the bad spot, and primed with rust oleum. Planning on purchasing Por15 if I can figure out where they sell it. Going over it with that and then using a paint bed liner for the interior and bottom.

Maestro Over the last week I received and installed some vinyls, made some more paracord accessories and today I'm installing my new/used kc fogs. Still have the 41mb-99tj vinyls for the hood (not sure if I want to install), door stars (black door, black vinyls) so idk) and like six 1 inch stars which idk where to put (opinions?). Oh, I also installed a flat black cowboys star on my rear window, it's hard to see. The hood star is too small I think I may get a larger one.

The simple way I think about it is that the flag needs to be facing the way it would as if you were going toward/into something and not retreating. So that would mean passenger side is reversed and driver side is normal. It's considered disrespectful to have it wrong by hardcore people, although the intent is correct

I agree Id be fine with that but I'd probably keep the windows in the back somehow, maybe make me a little carry storage deal. damn that tight huh, that's awhile lot tighter than my factory top....... which the stitching is coming undone lol. and we'll down here in Louisiana I put have to watch during the summer cuz there's a point some years where it rains every afternoon.
