the o3 and up have the vents in the tailgate, not in the top like the 02 and earlier.

booger 97-02 tops have vents on the rear sides behind the side glass and 03-06 tops don't have vents. those are the only differences.

How can you tell what year hardtop you have

I've got a 97 Wrangler with either a 02-04 hardtop the guy I got the top from wasn't sure what year it was from and to get the right mounting kit for the rear defrost and washer/wiper I need to know what year top I have any HELP!! Thanks
