ridered77 You keep a washcloth to wipe down the inside of your windshield in the morning...

DaJeepNotCheap when you're constantly chasing down the cause of headers cracking every year...

for that matter, you can change the headers without referring to any online source, haynes, or chiltons manual.

DaJeepNotCheap when you went from a yj to a tj and look at the airbags and go, "i think i will turn off the passenger one and change the steering wheel for a grant one because it just doesn't make any sense..."

DaJeepNotCheap when yj and cj owners ride along in yours and compare it to riding in a cadillac

I worked at a parts house; I get it. I so get it. Oh god, too many memories with that quote.

Shelby427 You have the skills to work on it, or at least ask for help if you don't.

I had a real "Here's your sign" day today at the shop.

Old Asian couple come in and want a new battery for their Benz. My cohort Alex sells them a new one and asks if they need it installed. Nope, they can do it themselves.

Oh about 15 minutes later I pick up the phone and get an earful from the wife of I'm guessing Chinese and English mixed together, telling me our battery is no good, the car won't start and no lights work. Trying to diagnose over the phone was fruitless, so I told them to bring it back and we'd replace it.

They show up and Alex goes out and brings in the battery to test it. He removes the plastic insulator cap off the positive battery post so he can connect the tester.

Wife goes, "Oh you are supposed to take that off?"

Yep, hubby installed the positive battery cable terminal over the plastic insulator cap on the battery post...

RedonkulousD When someone writes "I wish my wife was this dirty" on your jeep and your first though is "if she rode with me she would be!"

Until I got my Jeep last year, I never looked at the price of gas. Just pulled into whatever station was convenient and swiped the company gas card. Now that I have to buy gas for my "fun" vehicle, I'm glad South Carolina has some of the cheapest gas in the country! Under $2 makes Jeepin all the more fun!
