I had a great time thanks to all of you and digging and winching is part of the deal. I would gladly do it for any one of you and doesn't bother me a bit.

Oh don't worry about me, I wasn't frustrated or embarrassed about getting stuck at all, it happens and that's why I posted the run- so you guys could help dig and pull me out. Glad you guys had a great time and with such a long drive, I hope it met your expectations getting out there.

Until next time-

It was around 5 minutes, and I hated the hike back up the trail to retrieve the lost tire. It was weird, I didn't even know it was missing because the Jeep was performing as "normal".

The rim stayed intact and wasn't damaged due to the deep snow but I ruined the bead of the lost tire and couldn't remount it properly. I claimed the warranty on the tire and got myself a new KM2 .

Yeah I was thinking about picking them up myself, but then after we all trampled over them driving through, I guess it just slipped my mind. Usually I try and pick up trash and stuff if I see it. I was thinking about heading out next month, maybe I can pick them up for you..or whatever is left of them. Between Rich's license plate and your JK mud flaps, TSF is becoming a little swap meet. Too bad someone can't just "lose" a winch or a set of tires and wheels...

For what it's worth, the mud flaps were in excellent shape, and it looks like you could just rinse them off and put them back on. Maybe we should have picked them and brought them back to you.....

Nice pics

Yeah, we drove by that service road and it looked pretty bad. Most of C-line looked the same way, and that's where I got stuck. I didn't take any pictures, but since I started this run for all levels, we started at Rogers then went through the first sections of Powerline to the open section of University Firepower. I missed a turn and we ended up going south on Beaver Dam Road to an access road where we got on Cedar Tree. We went north on Cedar Tree past the tree arch and then stopped at the north end for Lunch. We then decided to go back through Cedar Tree rather than drive on Beaver Dam to Firebreak 5. I went up Firebreak 5 and so did some of the group, but others did not which was totally fine. Since we didn't want to split the group, we took the kick-out and headed west on C-line road trying to get to Hogs Back, Hoodraiser, etc. as a change of venue. We too came across some pretty deep and untraveled snow- about 2500ft elevation. (there's a pretty dramatic change in the amount of snow at and above that elevation compared to below it) I too managed to get stuck, so we turned around and came back to the mid-section of Cedar Tree, went north to University Firepower and went west to the West end of Powerline 4D. We then took all of Powerline going east all the way back Browns Camp, and then headed back to Rogers. Ended up driving a lot on the milder trails but I didn't take any pics. Hopefully some other people of the group will post them. Who had the mud flaps in your group? We came up on Firebreak 5 and I saw a right flap with the word "Jeep" on it and then saw the left one about 15 feet later..

great times-

IslandTJ ALL DONE! Back to the staging area .

Our trip back to the staging area was the hardest part , all on a section of forest service road (circled in blue).

Saddle Mountain Road

This is right off the exit of the Cedar trail, I am high centered and there is ice under me...

Mahalo to Oregon_Trail for getting me unstuck.

Up until we ended Saddle Mountain Road, it was an exercise of winching, snatching and towing.
But it was all worth it!!!

Mahalo to those below who joined me on this great run, I had a blast!

IslandTJ Cedar Tree

We ran Cedar Tree, South to North and did not find much snow on the initial sections of the trail.

Once in a while we did get some snow...

We managed to complete the trail in its entirety
