Smitty bilt has a some-what low profile light bar, i bought, waiting for it to warm up before i put it on. Way to pricey for me, but the current one im running, would let me do the mods i wanted so i figure i would have to fork over the extra money some where else anyway.
I havent seen it on any TJS, and only on JKs and it looks decent
Im getting antsy to put it on myself.
Forecast for the next week, low 20s, so its gunna countine to wait

Low Profile overhead light bar for Wrangler?
In yalls travels down the trails and pathways of the interweb....
Has anyone seen a low-profile overhead light bar for the Wrangler?
I'm kinda digging thie ones that are available for a Liberty...and surely if there is anything for a lesser-jeep, then the Wrangler posse must have something similar...though clearly better cuz its for a Wrangler.

Ive seen a variety of racks that usually stick up like mickey mouse ears.
Ive seen a few low-profile bars that use LED or halogen rectangular lights.
But I prefer the round-eye...cuz thats just how I am.
I even found this, but it looks like the base might be too wide (gigidy) to fit in front of the "freedom panels". http://www.dashzracing.com/images/T/...GN4056A-50.jpg
Why overhead...I do a lot of night driving in deer country (nope, not a hunter) so I'd like to put more light out in front...particularly about 20-30 degrees off to each side to illuminate the ditches, etc. (wired to a relay in the high-beam circuit so I aint that ___hole blinding oncoming cars.)
I also drive off road in pastures, etc in the dark.
Lights on the bumper are very effective on the road...but once you get in the tall grass, they are counterproductive cuz they reflect back off the tall grass and blind you.
Overhead lights would cast over the grass.
Low profile would reduce wind noise, catch fewer limbs, make me pucker less in a garage, give me the illusion of thinking I would have less of a MPG reduction due to drag, and keep people from singing the mickey mouse club song when they see me.
anybody seen something like this for our Wranglers?
