Scebs I've got some smaller than stock tires on stock rims (the PO never took it off the pavement) that I might be willing to lend you. I'm in Frederick so PM me if you're interested

Mean Daddy has anyone actually had a cop pull them over and do the quarter drop on them? My tires extend out further than my flares as well.

fanofthegame tjnindc- I hope you didn't order them from the link dabolt55 found. -Thanks for the option dabolt55, but I found that exact pic on a ebay listing for 170.00 with shipping included. Here is the ebay search: 11608.01 Rugged Ridge 7" Fender Flare Kit Jeep Wrangler TJ 1997-2006
I hope you got a good deal, and I would love to see how you like or don't like them. I'm leaning this way. Less mud and rocks all over the sides, and maybe I could pass the MA inspection legally?
Good Luck!

fanofthegame to: tjnindc,
I too am in the same dilemma. I like the factory look as well, but require the legal coverage too. I hope somebody on this forum could post a picture of how this "Rugged Ridge 7inch" looks, and if they have any problems or suggestions of what to get. I'm sorry I could not help you. I'm new to this forum, and I'm hoping you and I get a response from this.
Good Luck!

Tires - Fender Flares and MD Inspection

I just went to get my 2000 Wrangler Sport inspected and was failed because my tires extend past my fenders. I'm thinking about ordering the Rugged Ridge 7" fenders so that it can pass, but I like the looks of the Jeep now.

Any factory wheels with tires out there that I can borrow? Anybody have any luck with the fender flares?

PS: I'm constantly amazed at how much of a disaster the MD bureaucracy is.
