|daggo66||If you hang a tire that heavy on the stock carrier you will eventually damage the carrier or the tail gate.|

The top of the tire is level with the bottom of the light. I think I may pick up wheel spacers on ebay and return the relocation bracket.

|jkjeeper06||You don't need very high quality spacers to keep it on the tailgate. You can pick up a pair of cheap spacers on eBay for $60. That doesn't seem terrible. I believe the brake light will still be covered up tho. Here is how you can tell: try to put the tire on the door with the tailgate open so it doesn't interfere with the bumper. If it covers it up, you probably need an oversized tire carrier. If not a spacer might work. The stock carrier isn't the strongest tho, you might benefit to upgrading to an oversized tire carrier|

wheel spacer for spare tire 315/70/17
I have 315/70/17 duratracs on stock rubi wheels with 1.5" spidertrax wheel spacers. Spare would not fit on stock carrier because the bumper stops it from going on. I bought off camber fabrications spare tire relocation bracket but the tire will completely cover the 3rd brake light. I was hoping to avoid having to cut up the brake light bracket. Thinking of sending the bracket back and just putting on a wheel spacer. Seems like it will work
Does anyone know if you can buy just one wheel spacer? OR
Does anyone have one they want to sell?
