Up Hill Bill Dealer replaced my SKREEM under warranty because clock was loosing about 1 minute a week.

Now, after a month - dead bang on time checked against GPS!

Another little annoyance corrected!

Now for the TPMS that won't reset

jmartinb Same issue here...2012 JKU Sport S with non-nav OEM radio that loses time. In a month's time, it loses about 4-6 minutes on the radio's clock.

Next time I take it to the dealer, I will have them fix it, referencing the TSB.

eeagle My 2012 loses a few minutes a week; I thought time was supposed to go faster when you're having fun. Maybe the temporal bushings need to be recalibrated...

They didn't tell me until I was picking up the jeep. I would have been pissed if I didn't have the spare with me. I had to wait a lil longer, but had both keys working. The module that's replaced is the same as the SKREEM (sentry key...module).

Just picked up the Jeep. WCM was replaced through TSB 08-003-13. If you do this, make sure you bring both sets of keys. I wasn't told that and had to wait for the second set to be programmed.

JerryJeepster Not sure if this is related but my radio is out. I have an error code that reads "nofuse" where my odometer is. Also, when i start it and shut it off it is delayed. Service appt on Monday. They said they will have to keep it because it is a drivability issue. I am going to demand a loaner car. Screw their shuttle service......

NYC Will try and crank on the stock radio next time I drive.

WXman My new module worked great. Kept time perfectly. More power to the radio meant more power to the speakers also. I noticed more rattling in the overhead speaker enclosure.

NYC Had my WCM Wireless Control Module replaced today, hope it keeps time.

I know it's not top secret. If they were i wouldn't be able to look at all the other bulletins that I've seen! As well as other info.

Firerube Yeah I've had the same problem with my clock but the dealer told me it was normal. They said jeeps has always been that way but they don't know why they haven't fixed the issue.

Clock

Let me clarify, I reset, then over 1-2 weeks, drops down 4-5 minutes, levels out for a week or so, then begins cycle over again. I just usually get frustrated/confused with it and reset when it gets "greater" than the 4-5 minute mark, and go ahead and reset it. Great observation and solution though, if it only dropped 4-5 minutes and remained there, that would be great.

Couldn't you just reset it to 4-5 minutes fast, wait for it to lose time and from then on it would be right? I know that isn't really a fix but at least the time would be right.

Is this clock thing only with non-nav Wranglers? My 2013 has an option in the setup to either set the time manually or let the gps signal do it. With the gps it's always correct.

Thanks for the heads up on that. My 2012 is a whopping 43 minutes off. Need to take it in, maybe tomorrow. Just hate going down there.

clock issue

My 2012 clock does the same. Oddly enough, it will seem to lose several minutes after reseting, then stop losing time. So, i have just got use to it always being about 4-5 minutes slow. Thanks for the info here though. Nice to know the only "time" issue that I should be focusing on through my radio is from "Dark Side of the Moon", by Pink Floyd.

Yes. TSB was released 1/15. Dealer said not enough power was getting through to the radio so time lagged.
