It's a very nice kit.
(Presuming you have the $$$)
Unfortunately, I don't right now.

Overhead Security Console for Jeep Wrangler, TJ, YJ, CJ-7, CJ-5

That is what I have.
A friend of mine was selling for 50$ all I had to do is get a new lock plate for 10$ from tuffy and then i spray painted the rest.

I have my radio and everything in there already, just my SWR signal is very bad... idk why

Thanks.
They are just regular mounts for truck mirrors ,only use front half though ,mounted by drilling bracket and putting bbolts through.I mounted them to the bottom bracket of roof rack.

I just saw that recently and I can't remember where I saw it! Who makes that mount or where did you get it?

Dewayne Heres mine ,I can run twins ,but SWR is slightly lower with just one hooked, just like the look of twin antennas keeps front balanced guess its from my truck'n days.

SADCG09 I just mounted mine to the back of the console. Not permanent, but will get around to mounting it up on the windshield frame. That should work, my radio's too big to sit on the dash. Thanks for the idea...

blackegg 02Prove-where's the actual CB located? I can't figure it out?? I'd like to do something like this.
The 4wheel club I want to join requires a CB to trip with them. I wonder if a hand-held would qualify? I have a nice set of 12 mile Cobras.

Jerry Bransford One more very good and easy location to mount a CB to is to the center rollbar hoop. Mounted facing forward, the speaker is close to your ear so you can easily hear it at freeway speeds and the microphone drops straight down so it can sit in one of the cup holders. I just used a pair of sheet metal screws to attach the bracket to the hoop. You can even see what channel it's on in the mirror, the numbers are just reversed... no big deal.

I later made an overhead console but until I made that, the center rollbar hoop worked really well for a CB location. I don't have a picture here at work with me but I can post it later if anyone really wants to see it.

Nah... I have had zero problems with mine. A lot of the guys in my local Jeep club swear by 'em.

Drick Mine is mounted behind the counsole. But It is close to the floor and behind me. I like it cause its out of the way tho. I dont use it much in fact I need a new antenna for it. The mount is there but someone unscrewed the antenna for it

4point When my first was born we had a regular cab Toyota pick up. A car seat would take up most of the seat. It was a pain.
02-25-2009 11:03 PM
distortedtj You'll be alright....two car seats fit just fine.

02-25-2009 10:59 PM
Darton LOL Thanks,Yeah aparently I did it pretty well. A little too well... I'm excied though. Not too much about the car seat taking up all the extra space in the jeep
