camarozz simple answer... yes.

Basically, it can be a bolt in, but there are a few things to consider. One, are you going to try and use the original TC? If so, the input shaft of the TC may not match the trans, so if at all possible try and get both from the donor. Also you will need to change the clutch disk assuming you didnt already have an AX15 installed. Pilot bearing may also need to be changed depending.

Will a 92 ax15 from a Cherokee fit my 89 wrangler?
