It's plain to see who is sensitive. You seem to pop on the forum, write something intended to stir up opposition, post a 2nd grade stitched photo of your junkers, then disappear when enough people tell you to give it a rest. Then like a crap that won't flush, you pop back up! Isn't there a chrome accessory forum you should be moderating???

Look, we get it, you hate 4 doors. That being said, have you actually owned both? Because I have owned both a Cherokee and 4 door JK and can tell you for sure they are in no way the same vehicle. Totally different animals.

Yes, you have told us this several times.
Give it a rest and stop baiting.

Maitre I live in Houston and drive a 2-door. I would have to say that I see more and more JKUs on the roads.

I always wondered about that. Seems like the window would get brittle and crack. I don't understand soft upper doors up north either for the same reason.

I live in Michigan and I'm on my 5th wrangler. I've never bought or ever will buy a hardtop. Its unnecessary. The soft top keeps you plenty warm and dry.

Here are 4 adults and big adults camping in my 2012 wrangler 2 door. We had fridge, table, 4 chairs, 2 tents, 4 sleping bags, 4 sleeping madrases, kitchen, lots of water and food. Awning, camera equipment and personal stuff. We also had a hitch carrier.

You guys rock!! I was sort of being sarcastic about the video. I can get in and out of the back of mine, stepping on the ACE rail. I just don't do it very gracefully.

If I made a video, it would be total parody, having an exceptionally difficult time and whatnot.

I'm a die hard 2DR fan.

overblown I have noticed. And I absolutely love it! Nothing against four doors, just makes mine stand out even more.

But yeah, as mentioned, not something I'd opt to do without pants/shorts.

Michel347 Here as well, seeing a lot more 4dr than 2dr.

I was able to find a guy who wanted to sell its 2dr hardtop, when I saw his add on the forum, he wanted to sell it to someone close, I replied, damned you're 6 hours away, he offered me to add 200$ for his gas to come to deliver it to my house.

They took the road a 04:00 in the morning, arrived here at 10:00 or so, we took its hardtop off, and he drove back without any top, at 50 F, rainny day with its girl friend, and arrived just in time because his dealer was to close to take possession of his Premium Soft Top with the money he got from me. They struggled up to midnight to get it on. It was nice to meet them.

It made us both happy, they have the soft top they wanted, and I got the hard one, waitnig for next winter to install.

I wish i had a back seat but mine doesnt work ;(

Anyway this is a chrysler thing. I have a 96 chrysler sebring jxi with the biggest joke of a back seat ever...

As long as you have no roof it's easy. Just go over the side. Step on the tire then the side of the tub, go over the roll cage and get in the seat. Some smaller kids and smaller women go under the roll cage but I can't. It's tight back there but that method works for my jeep.

In the winter this method isn't possible. And if women are wearing skirts or dresses they should probably get shotgun seat

It's great, and people from all over the world drive and camp here. There is a lot of open land, you don't need a trail just fill the tank with cheap gas and go. You can camp anywhere, just make friends with any farmers or herders near you. But with a jeep you can reach places few of them can. Small dunes which are so hard for most vehicles are ready with a stock jk or any wrangler. The big problem is that parts are expensive and take months to come sometimes. Also, it is very hard to find a good mechanic or welder and the few are extremely busy and expensive. Even an oil change is dangerous if someone else does it.

flipmeover I personally liked the jk better so that's what I bought. I can definitely see the utility of the jku though. You could fit a whole lot of bodies in the trunk of a jku, where I can barely fit a fart in mine .

Taking the kids out in it used to be a pain, but I've found we just have to stuff the baby in through the back window instead of trying to climb into the back seat. He laughs his a$$ off while we're doing it, and we are able to take the whole family out in the Jeep without 20 minutes of prep work.

I especially like the girls comment about standing next to a for sale Escalade.
4 doors are for chicks..right ladies.
Later girls.

Lotrat There are self-proclaimed purists on every vehicle forum. That's why we have the ignore button to forever block the blabbering of idiots. I expect more from a moderator who should be moderating and not instigating. There are other Jeep forums we can all go to. Most folks here are great, but a few bad apples is all it takes to push people away from a forum. Just sayin.

I enjoyed my 2-door Jeeps. That the vehicle that sparked my off-roading passion. Kids pushed me into the 4-door Cherokee back in 2001. Wranglers only had one seat that tilted forward back then, so it was a gonner when our second baby came. My company's auto allowance and insurance plan only covers 4-door vehicles. No complaints on a stock JKUR when someone else is making the payments

Blue Heron I purposely ordered a 2dr. I love it
