Makes them feel like they are part of the jeep crew. Looks like just another Cherokee to me.

|Maitre||I live in Houston and drive a 2-door. I would have to say that I see more and more JKUs on the roads.|

If I made a video, it would be total parody, having an exceptionally difficult time and whatnot.
I'm a die hard 2DR fan.

|overblown||I have noticed. And I absolutely love it! Nothing against four doors, just makes mine stand out even more.|

It works But is tight. But I drive 99% alone so offen it aint no problem.
Here are 4 adults and big adults camping in my 2012 wrangler 2 door. We had fridge, table, 4 chairs, 2 tents, 4 sleping bags, 4 sleeping madrases, kitchen, lots of water and food. Awning, camera equipment and personal stuff. We also had a hitch carrier.

|michiganadam||In QUEBEC? Seriously? Dude is going to regret selling that hard top....|

While I can squeeze out from the back seat of a 2dr JK, I always found it easier to hop over the center console, and slide over the passenger seat and out the door. Getting in, it's easier just to dive into the back and arrange yourself later. Granted, I'm also 5"4 or something like that, so I'm a little bit more compact than most adults.
But yeah, as mentioned, not something I'd opt to do without pants/shorts.

Here as well, seeing a lot more 4dr than 2dr.
I was able to find a guy who wanted to sell its 2dr hardtop, when I saw his add on the forum, he wanted to sell it to someone close, I replied, damned you're 6 hours away, he offered me to add 200$ for his gas to come to deliver it to my house.
They took the road a 04:00 in the morning, arrived here at 10:00 or so, we took its hardtop off, and he drove back without any top, at 50 F, rainny day with its girl friend, and arrived just in time because his dealer was to close to take possession of his Premium Soft Top with the money he got from me. They struggled up to midnight to get it on. It was nice to meet them.
It made us both happy, they have the soft top they wanted, and I got the hard one, waitnig for next winter to install.

Its fun to watch women in skirts do that though...
I wish i had a back seat but mine doesnt work ;(
Anyway this is a chrysler thing. I have a 96 chrysler sebring jxi with the biggest joke of a back seat ever...

In the winter this method isn't possible. And if women are wearing skirts or dresses they should probably get shotgun seat

He's about 6' tall. Pretty well-coordinated. He's in good shape. He shall be my test subject. (Mwah, ha ha ha)

I'm still trying to figure out how an adult is supposed to get in the back seat of a JK with the top and doors on.
If and when I figure it out, I will find my back seat, put it back in, and film an instructional video. Then submit it to stickies.

I personally liked the jk better so that's what I bought. I can definitely see the utility of the jku though. You could fit a whole lot of bodies in the trunk of a jku, where I can barely fit a fart in mine .
Taking the kids out in it used to be a pain, but I've found we just have to stuff the baby in through the back window instead of trying to climb into the back seat. He laughs his a$$ off while we're doing it, and we are able to take the whole family out in the Jeep without 20 minutes of prep work.

Do you dress up like a woman when you are dragging your kids to the campground in your 4 door Escalade?

There are self-proclaimed purists on every vehicle forum. That's why we have the ignore button to forever block the blabbering of idiots. I expect more from a moderator who should be moderating and not instigating. There are other Jeep forums we can all go to. Most folks here are great, but a few bad apples is all it takes to push people away from a forum. Just sayin.
I enjoyed my 2-door Jeeps. That the vehicle that sparked my off-roading passion. Kids pushed me into the 4-door Cherokee back in 2001. Wranglers only had one seat that tilted forward back then, so it was a gonner when our second baby came. My company's auto allowance and insurance plan only covers 4-door vehicles. No complaints on a stock JKUR when someone else is making the payments
