We were just up there for our doe tags. If you go to ruby lake area there are some nice trails that have some pucker factor only due to angles might also be because we had a tons of large coolers that if they adjusted could have been bad.
Take Harrison pass to the saddle and head north up gravel road. Go through gate and take the bowl around the east side stay right go through gate and head up that mountain. Then continue up/down that road. It will kick you out onto...228 I think it is. Awesome country and some fun areas. Nothing "extreme" but still fun. Might get interesting if stock and possibly stuck as clearance is needed in a couple areas.
As for here in Vegas, I have an ultrasound on my thyroid sat. not looking forward to it but know that a probe is not required so that makes me feel better. Nothing like a huge a$$ needle stabbed into your throat.

Willson I know this is a Jeep thread and all... but my wife got me into a little project with her sisters mini S. Putting in a new clutch, I've been following a schematic for a 2002-2008 version, hers is a 2010 and things are in different places but it's been going along great so far. I've got the front wheels off, the shrouds around them, front bumper, crash bars, axles out, linkage off the tranny, slave cylinder off, and next I think is the starter on my list. I was just wondering if anyone knew of a more updated how to? I've looked on mini forums, YouTube videos but everything is older versions.

Posted another thread. Do you anticipate taking your arsenal? If so I may hang back a little and just meet you at the shooting area, just let me know what time you think that you may plan on being done and I will gauge my timing around that.

Hey Rocky,

Looks like I have to go into work Saturday in the AM, since I chose to go and play a little today. I could go Sunday if you are interested.

raythom3 I made it with our jeep when it was stock. I won't guarantee that you won't scrap a skid plate but there is only one area that is slightly difficult. You just need to take the right path. There are some groups that will run more of the washes but I stay on the trail for the most part.

Buddylee I might be able to go, how difficult is the Rocky Gap?
08-06-2014 02:26 PM

RepairMan Glad to see the yj is getting back into shape. I just had to put an adjustable front track bar in mine.

jokerchief462 Just got most of my parts. Did the front and rear brakes, hubs up front, rear axle seals and a rear pinion leak.

Just need to get a brake booster and master set up and should be back on the road.

Hope to be done when it starts to cool off.

Feeling pretty good after 8 hours working on the heap.

It was good meeting you, it is always nice to have a face with the name. I had a great time yesterday, and I was grateful for the wind we had.
