amerijeep Sounds like you need to repair the front light you stated as not working. This will probably complete your circuit.

Tail Light Problem, Need Some Help ...

Hey Guys ...

I've been a lurker of the forum for a while, but never had a reason to post; now I do.

I drive a 2007 Wrangler X and I'm having issues with my drivers side rear taillight. Last week I replaced both bulbs, and assumed everything was fine, but last night I got pulled over and was informed that the same tail light was still out.

Here's the odd thing; when I pump the brakes, both brake lights work, and when I hit the turn signal, both turn signals works, but when I drive at night with my headlights on, the drivers side tail light does not work.

Also, and I'm not sure if this is related, but the parking light on the front of the drivers side is also out. Once again, not sure if one has anything to do with the other, but figured I'd mention it anyway.

Any advice on what I can do? Anyone else ever have that issue?

I don't want to bring it to the shop and spend a couple hundred bucks if this may be something I can fix on my own.

Thanks in advance ...

- Ken
