I lifted my LJ higher in the front. 3" Rusty's springs and a 3/4 spacer, 2" Rusty's springs in the rear. It is still an inch taller from the flare to the tire in the rear. I bought some skyjacker shocks and its done. The axles are a little off center...maybe 1/2 inch or so. It looks great and rides great. The shocks were ~$135 and the springs were $110 and $100. I think I paid ~$30 for the spacers. I already had a 1" BL on it.

Also DPGoffroad has a great set up with JKS and OME products.
Look at the Ultimate TJ/LJ Wrangler Kit. You can also swap out the spring for the ones of your choice. Your being a LJ I would suggest the ZJ front coils and LJ rear OME coils.

I run a custom "type" version of the Ultimate kit. Works great with 33's.
Also with being a LJ you will not need a T-case drop with 2.5'' lift.

That's pretty close to the Rokmen price. Like $2 difference. I'm sure you could find a better deal if you shopped around more though. I just thought the convenience of getting it all at once was good.

If I was to start over with my 06 LJ - I would go with one of the OME combos from Rokmen. Level 2 would be best, but Level 1 would work too for under 1K. Go for the ZJ/LJ springs. Has the JKS quicker discos too! Call them - they are very helpful.

|machi814||Is the RE BB just a coil spacer lift? Though Rough Country comes complete with springs, shocks (2.2), and transfercase spacers. Is this brand no good?|

Yea not a bad combo for doing a lift, if your doing the BL, might as well do the MML (Motor Mount Lift as well), will help with drive line angles as well as any future plans for doing a Tummy Tuck or Belly-up T-Case skid.
I would recommend the RE BB (Budget Boost) though over the Rough Country one. Or look at the OME 2" spring lift as well

Lift combo question
I've decided to do a 2.5" suspension lift and a 1" body lift. *(I think)
Will I be able to run 33's with this combo? Do you recomend this combo. What do you guys think of Rough Country kits? Would I need to make any further mods to accomodate the lift? I've had this new Jeep for almost 2 months and I've done nothing to it. It's driving me crazy!
