jeep dust It's just one of those parts that wear out. I would use urethane (Crown) is the brand I used. Spring end bushings need to be pressed out but over all this is an easy job.

46 Cj2a spring shackels

I am all the way down to the bare frame and doing the welding, straightening and sand blasting to get ready to paint. The last thing apart was the leaf spring shackels. They must have been original as they were worn in half. I was wondering how many of you out there have converted to a newer rubber or urethane bushing and shackels with two side plates? How hard is it to change the spring end bushings and frame bushings? What brand of parts did you use? Thanks is advance for your time and experience.
