cmaggi2 Rustoleum bedliner has a spray? I'll agree with that too if you know you're gonna keep it black.

trav78 I will 2nd the use of the rustoleum bed liner I used this to spray on my mirror brackets and it worked great . the plastic dip is good but the bed liner is a permanent fix . imo

Jaxon1023 Plasti dip is good for a short term see if I like the look kind of spray. I've done rims, emblems, etc. something you want to paint and never have to mess with it again I use rustoleum bed liner on. Looks nearly the same texture but will not peel off like plasti dip when your ready to take it off

crazy how that works.....great minds???

I have been working on mine for a few days...they say 30 min dry time between coats and min 4hrs before use...I sprayed a light coat and set a timer for 30 min....repeat...repeat..repeat....says 3-4 coats is normal....I did 5 on mine but I was covering stainless steel...don't forget to do the screw heads

zachc113 Yea itll work ive used it on many things. I sprayed the badges on my truck over a year ago and its held up better than i expected. You can pick up a spray can of it at your local ace, lowes, or home depot for 6-7 bucks and i would think one can would be enough. i had less than half a can left and it covered my whole truck grill 4 coats.

I'd say it's worth a shot. You can try it for about $6. I have my JK hinges sprayed black.

I'd suggest getting the aerosol can. You can buy paint-type cans to actually dip or brush, but the spray is easy. I think the site is dipyourcar.com
Prepping is the biggest key.

Chili99 funny you should mention it

I bought the spray...you will probably need 1 can per side to get adequate coverage

Plasti Dip?

Heard talk of plasti dip on the forum. My mirror brackets are starting to chip. Would plasti dip work on this application? Is it something you actually dip, spray or brush on? Thanks for the advice....
