2in budget boost and trim your fender flares or not but 2in is the minimum thats what mine sat at after my 2.5 coils settled and never had a problem rubbing.
BTW i didnt trim the flares still stock

|mossyoakwrangler||I have a 06 with the NP231 t case and i can tell you from personal experience that having a 4 inch lift without a SYE kit and CV shaft is riding on borrowed time. the vibes got to where it actually ate the rubber on the t case balancer off threw the ring around my drive shaft. after which i removed and was lead to false information saying you dont need it. few months later i ended up blowing a rear end out. after several busted knuckles and a few choice words i have a new rear end with posi locker a AA sye kit and a tom woods custom CV shaft|

Patrick, on my LJ I'm running a 3" suspension lift, no BL and 33x10.50s on 15x7 wheels w/3.75 bs.
No vibes, still running stock driveline.
Works well as a DD and on the moderate trails I run.

however, the u-joints won't be very happy at full droop, and you may stress the output shaft on the t-case...which can causing damage.
vibes on the road aren't the only reason to install a double cardan driveshaft.

|KCBrooks9||I just did a 4" lift from Rough Country, the N2.0 lift. It came with the proper t-case drop, bump stops, and track bar bracket. I was rubbing BAD with the 33x12.5s and 2" budget boost. Glad i made the switch|

1. 4" suspension lift, with ~2" bumpstop extensions in front and ~2.5" in the rear. Requires a SYE/CV shaft.
2. 2.5" suspension lift, with a 1.25" body lift, with ~1-1.25" bumpstop extensions in front and ~1.25-1.5" in the rear. The 1.25" BL usually accompanies a 1" Motor Mount Lift to offset some of the driveline angles.
Either way you go, figure on some or many of the following components: longer front brake lines, extended sway bar links front and rear, gears, brake and steering upgrades to accommodate larger tires, SYE, CV shaft, bumpstop extensions, new shocks, adjustable track bars, and a rear track bar bracket.

Lift needed for 33" BFG A/T's
Just purchased my first jeep stock, '04 Unlimited LJ w/31x10.5x15's. Wanting to put 33's on stock 15x8 rims, if possible. How much lift is needed?
