Either Teraflex or Full Traction. You can't go wrong. I ran the TF 2.5 coil lift with 35s and it worked perfectly. A little snug for my taste IMO for articulation but worked great none the less.
If you haven't checked out Rock Krawler, do so. Their 2.5 is generally rated higher than most other lift makers 2.5s. You will always see more lift with a coil lift vs spacers but their coils are usually reviewed as being one of the highest. I would say a RK 2.5 with 35s and call it a day.

Finlay was able to scrape some cold $$$ cash for the lift kit, rims and tires...just about to order the "stuff' ... But before pulling the trigger...one more question....

Ok, so I decided to go with TeraFlex 2.5" spring lift kit and 35's on 16" rim.
Looking at MB TKO rims and have a question:
It comes in 16X8.5 5-127 -6MTB and
16X8.5 5-127 18MTB.
What is the difference between those #'s (highlighted in red) ...and what size I should chose...? I know it has something to do with a setback...and I saw some discussions that for 35's I should get 4.5 or less setback to prevent the rubbing....

I'll chime in... do the 2.5 and you'll be more than satisfied, and you don't need to do anything else.
One thought for you to consider. I think a 2 door with a 2.5" lift and 33's looks perfect. Considering that you're using it as a daily driver, and will use it on long trips too... the 33's will be much better suited, and your fuel mileage will be pretty close to stock. Check out some threads here, plenty o'pic's.
IMO, I think 33's look perfect on a 2 door, but 35's on a 2 door starts to resemble a moon buggy.
I have 35's on a 4 door, and I love the look, but I really think the 33's would've been fine, and the driveability (MPG too) much closer to stock.

|Sueby||I agree - 2.5 is perfect for what you want to do & a lot less hassle & $$. Once you hit 3.5 & up you are looking at all sorts of additional things for steering correction & drive shafts, etc.|

I'm with Gjersey on the lift. 4" is too much, even for 35s. Once you go 3"+ you're looking at new driveshafts, probably sooner than later.
Stick with a 2.5" or 3" lift, tops. Most 2.5" lifts you're gonna end up with about 3", anyway.
As for the 3.73 gears and 35s...put the tires on and see what you think. I've got a '12 with 3.73 gears (manual, so that helps) with 35" tires, and plan on going to 4.56 gears in the future. But it's very close...only on long hills in 6th gear does my Jeep seem to lack power.
If I had 4.10 gears I wouldn't spend the money to change it.

|Gjersey84||Stick to something more along the lines of a 2.5" lift. You can easily fit 35s with it and even add some flat fenders for more flex. Going any higher starts costing more and more money. Check out the rock krawler, metal cloak or teraflex 2.5" lifts to start.|

2013 Lift Kit
Trying to decide on the lift kit for my new 2 door Wrangler Sport.
Originally I was thinking about TeraFlex 4" with 35" but then after reading tons of info I totally got lost....Basically the more I read the more confused I am.
This is my primary vehicle that I will use to commute to work, go get some vodka in the liquor store on Saturday morning, once a year go on the long trips across the states and on the weekends go exploring old fire roads in the nearby Sierra Nevada mountains....I know some good rocky trails but nothing crazy.
I also don't want this to become money pit with all kind of modifications...I want comfortable highway cruiser with some guts to crawl over the rocks and mud ...and of course it has to look bad ass (to impress some hippie girls in Santa Cruz) ....
...I also know I will want 35" tires some day and willing to re-gear in the future...so whatever I decide should be orientated towards this goal.
