I got the ultimate kit and am saving for 33's. I had a budget boost and cheap shocks in there and my kidneys hated me. After putting in the ome coils and hydro LT shocks.. felt like i was riding in a cadillac...lol
It all depends on what you want and what your willing to spend to get what you want.

|Sb5551||DPG is does not have there own complete kit. They go around and piece together the highest quality parts from all differant vendors to make 1 complete kit. Rough Country is know to have a lower quality. I am running rough country springs and it is a very harsh ride compared to what Ive heard from others.|

|jdhallissey||I would really stay away from Rough Country. For 1000 dollars you can get a 3.5 lift and tires almost covered with new rims. I will pm you with an idea.|

Putting Together Lift - Some ?'s re: will it meet my needs
hello all.. i have been reading all kinds of posts to gain some knowledge re: a lift kit and related info. I have a budget of about 1K for this. Here's what I am leaning towards:
Rough Country 2.5 suspension lift & 1.25 body lift combo: $389
Trackbar Bracket: $17.95
Steering Stabilizer: $28.95
NEEDS: My 04 wrangler is a daily driver, but I want to be able to take it on some light trails when wifey and I go up the local mountains. i want at least stock comfortability.. but mostly i'm on the LA freeways. Additionally, I want to be able to tow my harley (700 lbs).
WHEELS/TIRES: I have read throughout various posts that 33" tires, though would be cleared w/ this kit, would not really allow me to hit fifth gear much. (which I use on the freeways). and looking at gearing charts, the largest tire that seems to fit best with this gearing is 32".
Is this correct? would 32's be pushing it? Should I look for smaller tires? What about wheel dimensions?? What backspacing is required? With about $550 bucks left, am I hoping on a prayer for tires/wheels? Where can I find a good deal on these? And lastly, is the above kit that I'm learning towards not in agreement with my needs? All insight is appreciated. Thx
