blkrubi88 For me and my Jeep, I go with the letters out and don't care what people think.

I never bought into the "all black look" hype.

It's your Jeep, you should do what you like and don't care what others think.

Don't you know that pocket flares increase MPG? They act like spoilers!

The wheels are machined alloy, lighter than steel and also increase MPG!

Here's the real deal. White letters out, all terrain tires, pocket flares, nerf bars, and real chromed steel wheels...not that light fancy aluminum junk! LOL
Ha! You had it all! I'm a fan of white letters, and for what I do A/T tires do the job. As far as the rest of that........
But, you've redeemed yourself nicely...

That's my Jeep. That's what I did to the poor thing when I first bought it years ago. I like white letters out, but they have to be clean or they look like poop. The Wesleys and brush is a great thing. I use it on my old pickup's white letters.

With all the sidewall rubbing off road nowadays, it's black sidewall out on the Jeep. The letters on the inside have become so dirty, you can barely see them.

Now

csteele White letters out!!! When they get mud on them you wont ever know whats going on with them. But when you clean it back up and scrub that crap off they look great. For those that say you cant get them the clean use a little simple green and a scrub brush and just a little bit of hard work. They will look great.

Modestmar97tj Its totally personal opinion but IMO It depends on your jeep, Dark colored jeeps look good with the letters out and light colored jeeps with the letters in. white & tan jeeps look awesome with letters in! Red jeeps look sweet ether way!

G-LOVE One side in, the other side out.

But, if I had to choose, white OUT. It just gives the Wrangler that classic look.

All Terrain JK [QUOTE="MarkGLHS;3322971"]^do the Duratracs actually say "duratrac" in white letters?

As a matter of fact they do not just Goodyear Wrangler, but they still look good.

Never seen the white letters on a tire wear off and turn black, the rubberaround them I'd white...

I use this to keep my tires looking good

MarkGLHS ^do the Duratracs actually say "duratrac" in white letters?

side question: other than the '03-'06 Rubicons (w/ the MTR's) did any TJ come from the factory with anything other than raised white letter tires (lettering facing out)?
