For me and my Jeep, I go with the letters out and don't care what people think.
I never bought into the "all black look" hype.
It's your Jeep, you should do what you like and don't care what others think.

I went white letters out. It works for mine.

The wheels are machined alloy, lighter than steel and also increase MPG!

Westley's Bleche White and a bristle brush cleans up the white letters like new.

So here's the before and after. I love the "white out" lettering look.

But, you've redeemed yourself nicely...

That's my Jeep. That's what I did to the poor thing when I first bought it years ago. I like white letters out, but they have to be clean or they look like poop. The Wesleys and brush is a great thing. I use it on my old pickup's white letters.
With all the sidewall rubbing off road nowadays, it's black sidewall out on the Jeep. The letters on the inside have become so dirty, you can barely see them.

|csteele||White letters out!!! When they get mud on them you wont ever know whats going on with them. But when you clean it back up and scrub that crap off they look great. For those that say you cant get them the clean use a little simple green and a scrub brush and just a little bit of hard work. They will look great.|

And pocket flares LOL.
Those wheels look like they're aluminum, not chrome.

|MarkGLHS||ALL TERAIN: nice looking TJ, even better w/ the letters out. I think the Duratracs are the best looking tires for most of the TJ's that I've seen.|

|Modestmar97tj||Its totally personal opinion but IMO It depends on your jeep, Dark colored jeeps look good with the letters out and light colored jeeps with the letters in. white & tan jeeps look awesome with letters in! Red jeeps look sweet ether way!|

|MarkGLHS||ALL TERAIN glad to read that, I was thinking about getting a set of Duratracs and did not want to give up the "wrangler" that I have now on these Silent Armors, which have "goodyear wrangler" in white letters.|
|02-05-2013 08:31 AM|
One side in, the other side out.
But, if I had to choose, white OUT. It just gives the Wrangler that classic look.

[QUOTE="MarkGLHS;3322971"]^do the Duratracs actually say "duratrac" in white letters?
As a matter of fact they do not just Goodyear Wrangler, but they still look good.
|02-05-2013 07:48 AM|
I use this to keep my tires looking good

^do the Duratracs actually say "duratrac" in white letters?
side question: other than the '03-'06 Rubicons (w/ the MTR's) did any TJ come from the factory with anything other than raised white letter tires (lettering facing out)?
