j/k. If you look on Craigslist, alot of times guys have stock take off springs for sale after doing a lift. Can pick up pretty cheap.
As far as the oil pan, can't help you there, haven't had to take mine off on either of my TJ's

Need help with 2 issues - 05 LJ

1. The oil pan is leaking on my 05 LJ, 6 cyl. Can the pan gasket be replaced without disconnecting half the engine compartment and jacking the front of the motor up? I was thinking the engine mounts, radiator hoses, exhaust and transmission and transfer case would have to be loosened to raise the front of the motor enough to clear the oil pan from the front axle. Or do you pull the front axle?

2. The springs are weak on my stock LJ it has 73K miles, I'm the 2nd owner. When I put someone in the back seat the LJ looks like a motor boat going down the road. There is a good spring shop in Richmond, VA, I called them and they claim there is no replacement HD model to replace the stock units. I do not to put a lift kit on the LJ, what are my options to fix this problem?

I need help guys, no a bunch of BS
