Actually, I did that shortly after you trimmed your tree. I thought of you while I was sitting safely inside my jeep, listening to the crack of wood.

amy That bar looks pretty cool.

I had some limbs that needed to come out of one of our really big trees. I didn't have a ladder or chainsaw so I threw a tow rope up into the tree so it hooked on the branch, hooked the other end of the tow rope to my hitch and slowly pulled until the branch came down. The branch was rotten, which is why it needed to come down, so it came down pretty easy.

jgano23 i have a small 1 story house. when we first moved in the hubby needed to get up on the roof for something and we did not have a ladder. so i pulled around the back of the house pulled the top down and he climbed up onto the roll bar. voila, we have a ladder. i wish i would have taken a picture.

not as cool as a bar, but it was handy.
