Hondarider I'd say the factory soft top is pretty stout when it comes to bearing the snow load...I live in New England and have never encountered an issue.

jdhallissey to the snow- I live in IL have not had a problem with it handling snow. Most I have seen on it is around 14 inches. It does not sag or anything. To opening the window for fresh air. I make sure I unzip my rears to about 2-3 inchs to give the pressure difference a chance to even out. When you just open one window or when i did it I took the doors off both sides. I thought I was going to fly away. I took the back window out and it was perfect again. You just need to give the incoming air a chance to get out besides the window it came in from. If that makes sense

2 soft top questions...

Two quick soft top questions from a noob:

1.) About how much snow can the soft top hold on top before I should worry (Wrangler sits at home while away at work w/ company car)...

2.) Anyone have any advice/ experiance for driving with the window rolled down but the soft top fully up and in place? I tried rolling my window down to get a little air, and it sounded like the soft top was going to rip off...

Thanks,
