|wouldwerker4u||I still haven`t had much luck! But I did manage to get some RTV to seal the hole as a temporary fix! Still looking for a new one!!!|

|87YJWrangler||Dude check autozone or napa I get all my parts from there and they ask if its a 90 because I tell them I cant seem to get it anywhere else and they have them on hand. Or liquid gasket|

Thanks guys , but from what Ive been told at Collins Bros. There was some kind of change up mid 1987 thru mid 1990. And just my luck I got caught in the middle of all that!
If either of you guys have one that has 11 or so bolt holes in it I would love to do buy one, especially after ordering one already that does`nt work from Collins Bros.( That one has only 7 bolt holes!) And I lost the cost of shipping when I returned it to them!

|87YJWrangler||If its the 4.2 you can use one from any 4.2 they are all the same engine as long as its the inline...|

Valve Cover Issues!!!
Okay, after cleaning all the gunk out from under the hood, I drove home (about 12 miles) and when I got home the top of the motor was covered with oil. After looking everything over I found a small piece of metal missing from the oil filler hole where the ears of the oil filler cap go into the valve cover. I used some RTV to fix the leak and started looking for a replacement valve cover. For some reason, no one makes one that will fit everything stops at 87 and starts back at 93. Mines a 1990 that came from the factory with a aluminum valve cover that has about 12 bolts around it. And an inline 4.2, if anyone has a good parts resource I would be very appreciative! I`ve tried JC Whitney, and Collins Bros. but I`m still loking!
