jimsaxton Following up ... Thanks you for all the great suggestions. During the heavy moisture yesterday, the jeep acted up, in short, the top left spark plug wire connected to the "distributor?", was arcing to the alternator bracket. A quick twist of the boot and viola!

WXman Yep, moisture collecting around the coil packs or ignition wires is probably the culprit.

Old Dogger Most engines run better after a rain because the air is more dense. My guess is that you have electrical wiring connection problems. Your warranty should fix this for you.

Sluggish after rain

Hey just joined, I have a 2010 jeep wrangler sport 3 liter v-6 auto. I noticed during rain / immediately following rain - jeep starts ok, but seems like a miss, very sluggish accelerating, for the first few minutes, engine will not rev above 700 rpms. after a good 15 minute warm-up things are better. Dry days are perfectly fiine. Any thoughts, anyone feeling the same?
