I don't want u to miss it either...
I started a new thread "Marble canyon & 2n17x " to help clear up the confusion ...read it carefully because the meeting spot has changed ...it's at Hesperia Lakes to make it easier to Google the location ...

Front for now, I'm not planning on doing anything to the rear since it will be replaced once my tires start wearing down.

949OC How many people are going? I'm thinking about it even though it's a Sunday. Looks like Dave and Kraig said they are going so a couple people know me already but maybe you'll let me join in anyway.

XJ_Phil So Steve........where is that Marble Canyon in relation to Pilot Rock / 2N17x?
02-19-2013 02:38 PM
JoeBot13 I'm gonna bow out of the Marble Canyon run ... I'm not set up for it and you guys would spend more time tugging me through than anything else ... especially having no lift ... I'll catch up with y'all for another run though!

Phil...we r running Marble Canyon ....its a new trail for most if not all here on this forum..... & 2n17x
I think DaK is the only one on this forum that knows of this canyon and that is because he went on a run out there with me a week ago Sunday ...

That makes it clear all right. I thot you had been talking about White Mtn (3N17x). So we are meeting by the Silverwood dam. Kool. I'm with you about.....the earlier the better. Days are getting longer (daylight saving will help too), but you know there will be those that won't get the word. LOL

I'm confused now, are you talking about the trail behind Silver Lakes (off Pilot Rock Rd) or White Mountain? They are both good runs (and not too hard).

H8-roads Around here?

XJ_Phil FYI - Daylight Savings Time starts on Sunday, March 10th. If you don't get there an hour early, you'll probably be an hour late.............LOL

Okay, well we will figure it out I went to HV from Los Flores rd back in the day. I see that Arrowhead lake rd splits off from 173 and heads in to Hesperia to Main st...So I have the general Vacinity...

Now for Marble Canyon ...we were able to get a Jk on 35s and a lift but with open diffs through but it took some work and required spotting the hole way....so that's an idea of the requirements ...
Sorry but where's the spillway on lake arrowhead rd?

Yeah, sounds good. I always prefer stuff I haven't done yet.

XJ_Phil Marble Canyon is not a name I know (may have been there), but as you say, anything other than another Cleghorn run sounds good. Where is that canyon?
02-19-2013 06:43 AM
DaK Am another one for Marble Canyon and 2n17x.

Maybe split into two groups after 2n17X -- One that wants to go to Clehorn, another that wants to do something else. Guess it depends on group size.

GaDude Count me in. Sounds like an interesting and fun run. Plus it will help motivate me to go ahead and pull the trigger on some mods I've been putting off for a while.
