*** For off road and great driving characteristics Rough Country had a 4" X-Series lift that I love. I did so much research its not even funny. The bushings allow it to articulate (flex) more. Go on YouTube and check it out... Also lifetime warranty on ALL parts including shocks...
*** Our dealership promotes Procomp if your on a budget or AEV 3.5 kit if your not. Either drive great on the road AEV is great on and off road if you get swaybar disconnects...

IMO save a little more, run 37" and a min 3.5" X factor plus..better yet a 5.5" version. I'd run the RK shocks..better than the Bilsteins, haven't tried the Fox's.
IMO once loaded for a weekend trip these JKU's get Heavy and you will loose 1.5-2" lift and start draging over the rocks...as the frame hangs to low.

|stillcrazydave||Thank you for the input. I think I just need to get out and wheel it for awhile, save up tor the rims and tires and do it all at once.? This cash is burnin a hole in my pocket. I was budgeting 2k for the lift and I am there.|

Talking lifts is like talking politics or religion... everyone has an opinion. I would first assess your needs and budget. If it is a dd with occasional off road use then you would not want the same lift as someone who just uses it as a trail rig.
As far as wheeling it stock, I would do that as much as possible. It will give you a better idea of what you need. Your driving skills will drastically improve and it will help you spot other people in technical areas. I cannot tell you how many times that I have had someone spot me horribly only to find out that they bought a rig with 35's and just drive over everything.

|Jared66||Poly performance synergy lifts. Check them out. Pairs with blistiens the jeep shop here in van city favors this lift over all. For ride and quality. I'm getting a stage 1.5 3" lifted for my jkur at the end of march. With blistien 5100s. The full review will be posted.. The info and specs on them are impressive.|

|LVRaptor||from what I understand you dont need to do anything foro the front drive line 4" and under and also am a big fan of OME lifts but have nothing but good things to say about my procomp 4" lift.|

I am an OME person. I have used several of them and love the ride and results.
As for front drive line...I am still on my stock one so I do not know. Mine is a 2008 sitting on 35's.

Lift for my JKU
I have been saving up my side money for a lift... Really leaning towards the Rock Krawler 3.5" X Factor with the Bilsteins... From AOR..
Still new to all this and have not been able to really get out and wheel with you guys yet.
Any input on what lift I should invest in?
I want to run the 35x12.5x15 Wrangler MT/R Kevlars on 15" Black Rock Vipers.
I got the cash for the lift, none for the wheels yet. Thinking about selling my Softail for more MOD money.
How soon will I need the front driveline??
