jokerchief462 Welcome to the forum!!! I am sure as you look around here at some of the builds and avatars you will see something you like. Your stocker is a great starting place and you can make these things anything you want. Just takes time and $$$. Have some fun.

luvlegs If you find out about the running boards, let me know - I have the same and the pass. side has a broken piece I'd like to replace. You can also go with the plasti-dip spray like mine.... easy to fix scratches!

rmeier There is actually a lot out there that you can do. Unless you find used rims I bought mine from I bought the cragar black rims for about $56 a piece and slapped some mud tires on it. I have about 2.5" of lift on it and other than that it is pretty much stock. You can go to for the paint. They have many different colors from the different years. Ask them to mail you a sample and see what you like. It is cheaper to buy a case even though you will have plenty of extra paint. I rattle canned mine so its not a professional job and cost me around $80 with tape and cleaner and the paint.

Quad411 The paint is just a flat paint, you could probably take to any place that sells automotive paint and they would be able to match it up. There are many black rims out there, that are close to those, I can tell you exactly what those ones are, but they look like a set of ford ranger rims painted balck. Discount tire sells rims similar, pick up JP magazine, there are different vendor pics of rims in there. I cant tell what the tires are by the pics.

Newbie looking for infomation!

Hey everyone, I've been lurking these forums for a while and I figure it's finally time to register.

I've come to y'all to ask if you could assist me in finding parts and supplies to build something very close to what's in that picture. I'm wondering things like the type of paint, rims and tires those are. I have considered a lift, but I like the look of that Jeep's height (stock) and those rims/tires.

I'm currently looking for a YJ for this project, but I'd love to gather the information to start ordering stuff!

Thanks guys, glad to be a part of this forum finally!
