RednekYJ Axles out of a 1980+ Grand Wagoneer would be the easiest to swap but not to find. There are alot of options I guess just how much work do you want to do?

trumsey07 what kind of axle combinaion would you recomend and i have a welder and my jeep is already set up for an soa

RednekYJ I would say do not use those axle's. You would need a welder to relocate the perches and put on shock mounts You would need to fab up brake lines, new steering and the jeep would have a really wide stance. Ask yourself this. Do you wheel hard all the time? Do you want to drive the jeep on the street? I'm not saying don't upgrade the front but there are better axles then that.

axle swap?

I recently blew the dana 30 in my yj and was wondering should i just replace it with another d30 or should i up grade both axles? what would be a easy axle combination swap for the yj and i foound this add on craigs list 1983 "Dodge 3/4 ton truck. Dana 60 rear and 44 front, 3.55 gears, 8 lug. manual hubs on front axle" what do you guys think
