I agree that axles are better, but a kit for the tc would most likely be cheaper, and would much more likely be something the average person could do with standard tools.

I made one to mount on my bumper to fish and hunt off of haven't ever used it while driving but I'll give it a go haha

Well, it may seem like a good idea that needs investment, but in general you'll leave a fair bit of performance on the table by not re-gearing the axles. The chassis reaction to the higher levels of torque quite often puts you in a bad place. Reduce the reaction by lowering the axle gears and things get a bunch better.

Exactly, after posting this I saw a video on 4x4 where they did this exact install on a suzuki, and the reason they gave was to run bigger tires without having to re-gear the axles.
It seems like it should be relatively easy to engineer, just change the gears, reducing the size of one and increasing the other....
Seems an area someone should invest in.

rubicon rich I would like to have a seat mounted up front. On the bumper or somewhere up there. I always liked those 4x4 vehicles in Africa that have those safari seats. Would have someone drive my tj so I could enjoy the experience of sitting there. Maybe a fold down seat when it's not in use?

I took my back seat out, but a lot of the time I have coolers or beach stuff or you never know what else back there.

Perkolater A hitch mounted door carrier of some sort. There are times when I would love to make a road trip doorless, but don't want to get caught in a thunderstorm without them (I'm in Florida, thunderstorms pop up out of no where in the summer). I'd love to be able to take the doors off and still take them with me.

Never knew they had a 3 speed auto. Auto would be better for a bench seat.

Do you drive manual or automatic? If I had an automatic I feel it would be more appropriate. People's feet would get annoying in a manual. Cool setup though
