Your axle is still square, it's just not centered. Think parallelogram.
Quit going to people who don't know what they're talking about. As long as you have a tape measure and a brain in your head, you can do all of this yourself.

|CBeach||I didn't think the control arms made since, they would move the axle forward and back depending on how they were adjusted correct? The specs on the alignment for the rear are camber = left -.4, right -.6 for the toe left is .55 right is -.15 total is .40 the thrust angle is -.40 supposed to be .3. By the naked eye it's hard to tell it's off. Does this help at all?|

2 things that you did wrong. Pay someone to do the alignment which is a very simple DIY process on your Jeep and you need to find a more knowledgeable shop that is more familiar with lifted rigs. Get an adjustable trackbar or relocarion bracket as amiller suggested. How much are you off on the rear axle?

|amiller||An adjustable track bar will help with this. If you want to go on the cheap, go for the track bar relocation bracket. I have a spare rear bracket (from a 3" lift, but I think it will be very close). I will send you for the cost of shipping.|

|Razz||The best way I can explain dogtracking is when u are following a vehicle and their ass end is offset from the front...the vehicle may travel straight down the road but it appears to be slightly angled...In my experience, this doesn't effect the actual alignment...If a thrust angle alignment was performed then dog tracking hurts nothing...But I can't see where adjustable control arms would effect dogtracking...Now an adjustable track bar could...Just my opinion...|

I need a little advice from the pros after installing my lift please.
This past weekend me and a friend installed a 2.5 spring lift with new bilsteins on my 99 sport. I carried it up to my local shop where I bought my tires from a couple of months ago to get an alignment done, they told me that my rear end was tracking like a dog and that I needed to get new control arms to correct the problem. This is my first lift, but I've been reading and researching for a while now. I'm aware of the axles shifting and possibly having to buy an adjustable track bar or a relocation bracket which I haven't done yet. I haven't seen anyone needing to get new control arms for a 2.5 inch lift. My question is do I need to buy new control arms or would the adjustable track bar or relocation bracket help this issue? Also I do have a few vibes after install so I plan on dropping the tcase a little fore the time being until I can get an sye. Would this have anything to do with their diagnoses? Thanks
