BigCrave I noticed the same thing yesterday in mine. Funny thing is, it was 60 degrees and top was off and I was behind a dumptruck with a snow plow and a brine sprayer.

Jgood738 Maybe you're just so happy with the top down you don't notice if its running bad.

Dextreme Our TJ have feelings...they are happy with the Top off. When I have the doors and hardtop off, I can feel the weight to power difference.

Why does the Jeep seem to run better when the top is down?

Dropped the top and drove the Jeep to the park today for a little exercise. Ran a few miles. It is beautiful out. 65 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Jeep is running great!
