Problems removing the exhaust for RMS replacement

I'm replacing my rear main seal right now, and I've been stuck for about 5 hours on the 4 bolts that hold the exhaust pipe to the manifold. I got 3 out, so one whole pipe is loose, but the 4th and final one will not come. The nut on top of it has a tab that is supposed to catch on something but its not.

I'm beyond frustration and am contemplating putting it all back together and dealing with the dang leak.

Anyone have tips on how to get this bolt, all of the writeups are just so dang flawless it seems like. "Oh yea, just remove the bolts so you can move the pipes to get the pan down". Yea right!

Oh and I would just put an end wrench on the nut.....but they are a weird shape and size, nothing fits on the darn things
