mudmagnet63 Looked at the 05 my daughter didn't like it. They had a 02 Saharah with 100k 3" lift 4.0 5 speed, D44 with 3.73. Warn winch, 33/12.50/15 tires. Guess which one we bought. It's almost identical to her last one. I didn't like the tube bumpers but she does.

Gary2 The OPDA is pretty much a nonissue follow the link in the second thread. Just don't start reading from the begining it starts way back when their was no good fix . Do a search for Stripperguy or Dorman , both fix the OPDA . The Gas splashing back is also an easy fix . Their are a few things that the O5s and 6 have that are usually not mentioned . Better heater controls , higher preasure fuel injectors and I am sure more like any other vehicle its "usually " better to get as new as you can.

I'm interested because I have an 05 and I have had the p0016 code. I would rather not pay for it if I don't have too.
Mine was covered under warranty when it went at 68k miles

mudmagnet63 Thanks for the heads up. I'll listen for the laughing monkey and tell my daughter to watch out for backsplash.

I agree. I may have to look into getting that fixed.

I'm going to look at an 05 with the 4.0 and 6 speed tomorrow. Anything specific about the 05 I should be wary of ?
