No need for track bars on the YJ. It rides SOOOO much better without them. I also pulled the front sway bar, that helps a lot too.
I dont do much off roading. Only about 3-4 times per year, and never anything hard core. Mostly lite trail rides, and old logging roads.
I didnt need a huge lift. I just wanted enough to clear 33's with plenty of articulation, and still street worthy. As I put about 4-5k miles on the Jeep in the last year. Its my primary summer time vehicle. And its so good in the snow, I park the F250 when it snows as well.
Next on the list is an 8.8 axle swap, and 4.10 gears up front to match.
Right now, the YJ is pretty much a 4 gear only vehicle. 5th gear is useless with 3.07s.

I wish I knew! They came with the Jeep.
They are plastic. They are a simple, cut off the old, screw on the new.
I have been asked probably 100 times where I got them.

Wife and I just got our 1st 94 YJ. Ton better shape than what you started with and we've been active all weekend (during the ice storms) "goodie" shoping, crusing the forms and getting as much info as we possibly can before diving into this little monster of our own.
Stupid question and reason why we picked your thread to ask is because ours is same year / model.... Done several lifts over the years (Couple Fords, couple Chevy's and even one 'ol rusty Toyota) but when shopping for lifts don't see anything that addresses new brackets or new/extended track / panhard bars. Typical to omit them when lifting one of these??? Older Fords/Chevy's with leafs of course never used them and in my experience they tended to limit / restrict proper articulation of the axles and leafs both front and rear.
Otherwise....... awesome build so far and look forward to following it remainder of the way !!

I am pretty sure its a stock sway bar. I used MOOG urethane bushings to mount it to the frame, and Rough Country supplied the end links with the lift kit. I no longer drive with it connected. I disconnected it, and just flipped it up out of the way. Rides much smoother without it connected.
Havent changed much in a while on the YJ. Summer time I enjoy my other hobbies of boating and offshore fishing. I am sure once the cold really hits here in CT, the YJ will go back in for some more upgrades.

Block is Duplicolor semi gloss engine enamel. As are all of the other engine bits that are black- brackets, power steering pump, pulleys, fan, intake, etc.
The head and valve cover are also engine enamel, not sure of the brand, cant remember right now. But the color was called Ford Tractor Red.

Added a bunch of lights today.
Replaced the under dash lights with white underwater LED 4" strips.
Replaced the weak OEM hard top dome light with a 6" blue version of the others.
Replaced all the dash bulbs with blue LED.
Painted all the dash parts with black Plastidip.

It took a lot of extra time when I had it all apart to wire brush/sand/scuff/clean and paint all the little extra pieces for the engine.

Its an eBay SmittyBilt copy. Actually very beefy. The plate is very sturdy, welds are solid. Tube is very strong as well- enough that I can stand on it (6'4" 240lbs). One minor complaint is the paint finish. It has held up well, except right at the shackle mounts, its chipped a little there. But VHT's wrinkle finish chassis coat is a perfect match.
Only $238, free shipping, weighs about 90-100lbs.
