Mike001 The one here seems good and I hear good things about them. I'm gonna put the lift on with a couple of friends though to save $500. I'm gonna put that towards tires.

Scout Not in Midland, there's one in Odessa. Never used them before but thought about going by there and checking them out.

Mike001 Is there a West Texas OffRoad in Midland?

Scout I don't. Put a post up in the For Sale Section. I'm sure someone is looking for something like that.

Mike001 You wouldn't happen to know anyone in the area lookin for some 31x10.5r15 BFG AllTerrains with about 2000 miles on them would you? All 5 for 450 or the rims and tires for $1000. The rims are 15x8 American Racing Atlas w/ 4.5 in BS I believe.

Scout West Texas Offroad? The one in Odessa?

Mike001 I should have all of it here on the sixth and if I can afford some tires I'm taking thursday and friday off to get it put on. If I don't get tires its gonna have to wait. West Texas OffRoad is having a charity event the ninth that I want to have it on for.

mrbigjeep get a buddy and try the install yourself. its easy.
11-26-2006 09:34 PM
Scout I think by saying "I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to lifts" he must be looking for someone who will sell it and install it for him.

Best answer: Join a club and see if someone can help you install it. If you're not interested in installing it yourself I'm sure someone in the club can steer you to a reputable shop.

mrbigjeep do online! if your shops are anything like here in SC then its a total waste of time and MONEY. they wanted to charge me $310 for a complete BB shipped which is totally RIDICULOUS when i can get a complete BB shipped ONLINE for $220. so what if you have to wait on shipping.

MR.CLIFFORD Do you want local for a reason? There are tons of online retailers that are more than qualified to fix you up with whatever you want. Are you going to install the lift yourself??
