I had to put some rubber pads on the latches that attach to the roll bar due to a slight rattle when it was loaded down with stuff. However, it is a very secure and sturdy rack. Very happy with it.

Thanks
Mine is a 2013. I would think it would fit the 2014 since it basically bolts into the rear seat bolt holes, but not 100% sure.

Love the look.

Discount Tire store really gave great service and unbelievable price.

Was concerned about the size and weight of the spare tire. I will probably get a "Rock Crawler Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier" once I can afford it.
The spare fits snug and actually rest on the bumper indent (which seems to be supporting the weight).

I few other mods although not all today:

Rugged Ridge Hood Latches
Rampage Rear storage rack
Trek Armor Seat covers
Rear tailgate rack (from ebay)
Quadratex Rear Cargo Liner
Fire Extinguisher
Smittybilt First Aid kit

I have some Smittybilt SRC side rails but ran into the "bracket problem" preventing the install. Need to do some grinding to get them to fit.

Thanks to everyone that posts info and suggestions on this forum. I did a lot of research and the info your guys provided was extremely helpful !

Ready for Jeep Beach this weekend!!

Wranglerthirteen Relocated license plate to factory rear bumper. Didn't like it hanging off the side and didn't want to cover the spare.

yeti2ride Crushed my tailpipe a while back. Rather than just replacing it. I went for an upgrade! Had a new Flowmaster installed plus custom exhaust pipe. The guys even painted it black. It almost completely disappeared under the back and sounds great!

x2 my firearm is on me at all times, where it is accessible when needed. My Tuffy security drawer is for those times where concealed carry is not permitted - period. And to carry extra ammo

Factory rotors are normally thin and crap so they do wear out. Replacing pads before they eat into the rotor will help. I buy my performance brakes for my 335 from rotor pros. I'm saying that high performance brakes on a jeep is a waste of money. Buy the best ceramic pads and you'll be happy. If you find you need rotors I would buy a decent but cost effective set from Napa or rotor pros. Do the work yourself and put the labor savings into a mod.

Agree. Slotted is better than drilled IMO but still not necessary on a Wrangler.

Ditch the spacers. That just looks bad.

120 in a JK and drilling rotors, Qamzaway? You need your head checked.
