Jerry Bransford Vinyl is definitely softer & easier to work with/stretch into place when it's warm. Even setting it in the sun for a while will help. Make sure too not to latch the rear corners into the tub before getting the front clips (hooks) inserted into their slots in the windshield frame. Insert the front hooks into their slots without closing the latch. Next insert the rear corners of the top into the rail on the tub. Then latch the front clamps.

PStov98TJ Yes this is a bit true. My top is a littler harder to put up when it's cold but not too bad.

RevCo666 Anyone provide a few more tips on soft tops? This spring i plan on using mine for the first time as i bought my 01 last summer and decided to just keep the hard top on since it was the end of that season anyway. I have a friend down the street who owns a 4door jk who has abit of experience with them. But my issue is about them being stored outside in a wooden shed in cold climates. I heard that putting in the cloth and windows part inside a few days before installing will make life easier? Less stress on the material?

PStov98TJ Bestop also makes some cleaner for their tops. Worked decently for me.

Dirty Soft Top

Went all out yesterday with the soft top on, and I'm having trouble getting all the dirt off of it, any pointers?
